when you start jogging is it normal to gain a little weight? why does it seem like it? its like a difference of 1 to 3 lbs?

weight gain is not necessarly a bad thing. Musels are heavier than body fat. So if you're burning fat but you get muscular then that's a good thing.

No, you lose water.....as you sweat, you burn calories, hence lose bodily moisture....i dont know the exact numbers, but they can be found on web md im sure....DOnt drink a gallon before you jog...never jog on a full stomach, but it is good to drink as you go.....Brodie
