I had to watch it twice to realize how funny it is.

A polarizing movie as to which kind of comedy you like. If You're the type that needs your hand held thru comedies. Like say, Adam Sandler movies, where every joke is so obviously a joke that it doesn't even need to be funny. You laugh because it was set up so much, you know you're supposed to laugh now...
N.Dynamite doesn't have any set ups, so you have to be sharper to get all of the jokes, some people have to watch it twice because they miss them the first time. But it's still funny because the actions and the characters are fun to laugh at.
It's not really a comedy for stupid people, because they dont' get alot of it and most likely will find it stupid or "boring", because they don't have someone holding their hand telling them when to laugh....also they like TV shows alot , because sit-coms always tell you when to laugh with the laugh track!

I saw it for the third time yesterday.
I loved the first and I still do because:
They live in Preston, Idaho. There's pretty much NOTHING going on there.
LaFawnduh is hot.
Kip gets transformed into like this gangster guy.
LaFawnduh and Kip get married, as well as they should.
Oh yeah, did I mention LaFawnduh is hot?
The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't show the winner of the election.
That sucked.
Besides that, I loved everything.

I liked it. I don't see why people give it such a bad rap. I suppose you have to have a wry sense of humor and must be a nerd or sympathetic to nerds.
It is a bit esoteric and if you didn't go to a crappy small rural high school (as I did), you probably won't relate. It would be boring if you can't relate to the characters.

I love this movie. It is funny and every time I watch it, I laugh louder. I love the episode when he calls home from school with a headache and his brother's plate of food gets larger and larger each time the camera zooms in on his character. Hilarious!!!

i personally loved Napolean Dynamite! In fact in my highschool days I was Napolean Dynamite. I was always trying to fit in but i never could, maybe if I could have had a Pedro maybe I would have been sucessful.

I thought it was kinda lame with a few funny bits here and there.My husband (who is from the Midwestern US) thought that it was hysterically funny and watched it over and over- I guess it was a cultural thing- he related to the characters and the setting..

I have watched it more than any movie ever! Made by mormons!! No swearing, nudity or vulgarity yet it is funny as hell!

I love it so much...I also like that even though he is a total dork,..he still has confidence to stick up for himself...excellent movie!
