Whey protein is the best source of nutrition to build muscles. Try taking a why shake 1-2 hours before working out and another one right afterwards.

You should consume about .1/2-1 gram of protein for pound of lean bodyweight. So for your average guy @ 200lbs this would be like 100-150 grams of protein.

Most decent whey shakes contain like 30-50 grams of protein per serving.

Also, tuna is a great way to boost your protein intake. Try the Starkist Fresh Pouch tuna - 2oz has like 19 grams of protein.

helloooo. I'm training to be a YMCA fitness instructor so this is fun :]. The thing you must make sure you do before working out is not to drink soda, coffe, or tea. I love caffine but it's not good before working out. so is sugar. Sugar is good fuel (makes you hyper) but it burns out reallly quick. EAT CARBS. :]
