i am the primary custodian and have had numerous problems with my ex and harrassment, mainly because he just simply will not contact his lawyer if he has quesitons instead of showing up at my house or calling my phone repeatedly, i think he thinks i will just give in to his annoyance. but its quite simple that i will not allow my daughter to go with him if it is not his visitation period.
so i am looking for some links relating to what he must provide as the non custodial parent. im looking in particular to the fact that he has moved and not yet supplied me with any info on where my daughter is going to reside. do i have to let her go without knowing where she will be? i have an appt with my attorney on thurs, but looking for something to read in advance. or if anyone feels likes chatting and knows some about this subject feel free to IM.

Pandora has got it right. If he wouldn't say where he was taking my daughter, I would feel really hard that he would be thinking about abduction. I also know that the court has got to be told where they live, in case the court ever needs to reach them. However, I know that the other parent is not always responsible about that. Could you possibly call the judge to see what his take on the situation would be? You don't want to refuse to let him take her and then get in trouble for it yourself, although honestly, if it was me, I wouldn't let her go. I just couldn't trust somebody who won't give me basic information about my child, this could involve her safety. Anyway, good luck with this.

As far as I am aware you don't have to let your child go anywhere with him without having a address and phone number so that you can talk to your daughter if you feel like it or if something happens to his means of transportation you need to be able to get to your daughter. I also have some questions dealing with some child custody issues with someone living in Indiana plz email me @ qlbass@yahoo.com Thanks so much.

i do think you get to know his address and if he continually does this you may look into supervised vistitation for him. and maybe a restraining order just document it all and maybe get a security camera installed so that you can have video proof that he is coming by and what he is doing while he is there.

HE WHO HAS NOTHING TO HIDE, HIDES NOTHING.

I WOULDN'T TRUST MY CHILD WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE......

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS INTENTIONS ARE WITH YOUR CHILD.
