Yes I do. Unlike a friend of mine who tells everyone others peoples secrets. So I make a point of not telling her any secrets.
It really annoys her when I won't tell her what secrets I know.

Depends on the secret. If it is something that can hurt somebody else or the person that told me about it then no I would not keep it. But if it is something simple than yeah I usually keep it. Although I tell everything to my mom because she is like my best friend so I guess I never really keep a secret but if you don't have at least one person to share it with then it will drive you nuts because you want to discuss it with somebody. So I guess the answer is no. LOL. Now I feel bad because I can't think of one secret that I have kept forever and ever. OH wait there is one. It's about this girl............oh shoot............ LOL nevermind. I guess I won't blab her business all over the net. So anyways no I am a bad secret keeper.

No, not always. In every life there is a time when you cross your own rules. A secret that endangers a friend should be shared. I even had a friend to wound up in bed with another friend of ours and she swore me to secrecy. No problem, until another girl in our crowd was trying to catch that man for herself. I tried not to tell the whole truth, but she would not be swayed and it became necessary.

I do try to keep secrets, but consider other moral dilemmas. Thou shalt not steal for example. Everyone can agree that stealing is wrong, but what about the out of work mother who steals food for her child? Is she still sinning? There is so much grey in morals...

Peace!

Yes. I have never betrayed a big secret. lol I admit that when someone confides a crush I will drop hints to the 'crushee', but big matters I NEVER, EVER tell. The. End.

Of Course..... Unless the person who told you is in danger.... if you think that they may be physically hurt then maybe you should tell someone but otherwise that person trusted you enough to tell you and you swore not to open your mouth so be a good friend and keep your mouth shut.

Yes, unless i know the secret could quite possible ingure someone. If it could cause someone harm if i dont tell, then id tell because id rather have saved someone and lost a friendship then have someone die an dknow i could have prevented it.

Without a doubt. Allowing your friends to know you are trustworthy will get you much further in the long term than lying to achieve some short term reward.

Unless its life or death I won't break my promise, so if someone comes to me and confides in me then its stays between us. I take it quite seriously. If I can't trust myself to keep a secret what hope is there

I would never, under any circumstances repeat a secret, once you tell one person it's no longer a secret.
