Hells no. How many of us even have a LOUNGE at work and the summer off?

No, I don't think I would. But I guess it depends on how bad condition they were in, whether the school was in my community, whether I knew any of the teachers... and what conditions the kids are learning in, too. It would be silly for the teacher's lounges and restroom to surpass the kids' stuff.

I'm studying to be a teacher and that's the least important thing that needs funding. It should go to the children.

I guess happy teachers make better educated students and a pleasant learning environment, so sure if my child was at that school!

how much of it already is used for this, that we may ot even know about. As tax payers, we should know exactly what we are doing with it... in our PTA meetings, we go over every peny we spend on what the school needs, that we get from fundraisers

omg! no way! people say the teachers have it bad...have you seen the lockers that students use? and the food we have to eat? and the books we have to carry....ridiculous

funding for the actual EDUCATION of our children is already in the toilet.
i don't think comfort is an issue.
