I just recently restored my pc, virus scanned so I know that I have no virus's or no unauthorized downloads.. Some body please help me.

I am using IE 6.0 I have done all the obvious things that everyone is suggesting... Tools, Internet Options.. change to what I want there under Home Page but to no advail it will not stay it will revert back to MSN.. I think MSM has taken over...

Tools--Internet Options--enter URL of desired homepage in the "Address" field

EDIT. Ok then, this may be a virus. Nothing to do with MSN but MSN just happens to be the "chosen" page. Firstly find out the exact problem by installing hijackthis and running a search, then you can find a fix. This may be a Smitfraud variant

It would help if you mentioned what browser your using. Have you tried the obvious? In internet explorer go to:
Tools>Internet Options, you will see a text box with the URL of your home page. Delete this text and put in the URL of your desired home page. Then click Apply>OK
If you have allready tried the obvious, forgive me and this will help, visit the microsoft link below for details on how to resolve this problem

you might have no virus anymore in this pc but restoring a pc cannot delete a spyware. spyware is a different form of program that hacks your computer. try to get a spyware sweeper. once it's done, you can do the usual homepage set up coz there is no other way of setting it up, you did the right thing.
