God did make everything..including evolution. God is no dummy. The Bible says He created everything, but doesn't say how. Who's to say He didn't start from a one cell organism and evolve into the humans we are today. A system as complex and perfectly logical as that, not to mention that the whole thing happened by chance, could only be the hand of God. Don't take the Bible fully literally. Some of it is true stories, but some are just stories to show us some lesson. Remember the Bible was put together by people under God's supervision, but He may have wanted to teach us something, not make a history book. Look at the Garden of Eden story. God is not that unfair. He was more leniant on Adam. This is because guys wrote it down. God loves all people equally, that story is obviously just there for a lesson.

If you think about it, Genesis is a metophor for the origin of the universe.

God made light= the Big Bang, which has been proven and started out as a big light.

God made the Earth and oceans= there are theories saying that matter somehow spontaneously came out of that light.

God made the creatures of the land, sea, and sky= the evolution of Earth up to the point of the animals.

God then made man to rule over the animals= evolution now has produced man, who is the highest point of evolutionary progress.

What I am saying here is that Genesis is more of a metaphor of what God did. Science is only explaining how God did it all, not proving it was something else, only studying His methods.

First, calling participants in Yahoo Answers all cowards because we did not answer your question does nothing but make you look like a little toddler throwing a temper tantrum.

Which leads me to my second point. I just logged in for the first time today, and so I did not even read your questions before. So to call me a coward like that is unacceptable behavior.

Which leads me to my third point. You put your question in the "Studying Abroad" category, which is not the place to post your thoughts about Evolution vs. Creationism. This category is specifically for questions concerning "Studying Abroad" (in case you do not know that is studying across oceans-- in other countries-- which has nothing to do with your question).

But to answer your temper tantrum question:
There is scientific proof that we Evolved, but that does not mean that G-d did not create us in basic forms that allowed us to Evolve. One thing Creationists fail to realize is this:
Life did not start 2,000 years ago. G-d years are not the same as we have now-- so when G-d created the world, it took 6 days-- on the seventh, he rested. But our days are not the same as his days. Six days to G-d could be millions or even billions of years. Remember, even 3,000 years ago they did not have a 24 hour day, or a 365 day year. And humans, and other creatures were around LONG before then.

So it is actually possible that both sides of the argument are correct-- G-d created the process which allowed us to evolve. This evolution is seen in todays world even-- if you look through 20 generations of an animal you will see that if they are in a dry, arid country when they are born, they will adapt to that (Camels for instance). They will gradually change to allow their species to adapt to the climate in which they live. Camels have humps that stores water, so they can go a long time (and travel great distances) without needing water. So adaptations still occur to this day. The point is, both sides, I believe, are correct-- we have the scientific proof to back up the evolution side of it, and we have our faith and our written histories (such as the Torah and Bible) to confirm some of it.

But also, remember one thing-- you are going by what your Faith and the Bible says-- do not forget that there are MANY books of the Bible that were never added to the Bible, so how do you know that you have all of the facts, and all of the information? Please see my sources below to find out what I mean.

I see why you chose your screen name. This rambling makes no sense what so ever. This is not a matter of cowardice, it is a matter of comprehension...perhaps you could take more time to write something resembling a question that is not preaching or whatever you are trying to do.
