These campers get ambushed by these hillbillys then they tie em up in a tree in their sleeping bags! I cant remeber much about the rest of the film , but we remember it, but cant remember the name of it! Can anyone help?

Thats movie is called SnakeEater and stars lorenzo lamas.Its one of my faves.

Don't know about that but i definitely remember in Friday 13th part VII when he drags the girl out of the tent in her sleeping bag and slams her into a tree. Pure comedy genius!
So brutal yet so hilarious
Then the scene was repeated in Jason X where he takes one girl in her sleeping bag and slams her into her friend repeatedly until she stops moving then turns her on a tree.
I suggest you see those moments for brilliance
Possibly the original of The Hills Have Eyes but can't really remember it as has been ages but i remember the hillbillies and the terrible one liners such as "do you always try to stop trespassers by hanging yourself?"

Words can't simply describe how awful this film is. I watched it on video, and I simply could not believe what I was seeing.
Basically, "Snake eater" is about an ex-military man (Lorenzo Lamas) and his search for his kidnapped sister who has been held captive by Deliverance-style Rednecks.
The film's acting, writing, direction, photography, and editing are deplorable along with a song called "Soldier" that has to be one of the worst theme songs of all time!

That replaced into set in l. a. and Chuck ain't operating round searching scared. he's definitely sharing the city with plague ridden human beings, led via Anthony Zerbe. more effective probable to be The Quiet Earth, even with the reality that the plot isn't truly as you bear in mind it.
