I have a 15 yr old, that wont clean her room, I try everything to get her to do it. but she wont or she does a little and stops.

No TV until Homework and Chores completed.
This also means no phone or going anywhere.
You have to be very consistant and not give in.

I had a friend that had a son that was like that. The parents would give him a time and if their room was not cleaned by the due date, then they would go in there and bag everything that was not put up in trash bags and throw it away. They would always make sure he had clothes to wear, but sometimes it wouldn't be what he wanted to wear, so he ended up keeping his room clean.

Use a white board....put the chores that need to be done on one side and the things that will be taken away or the punishment that will given if the chores are not done. This will let the them see what is expected of them and the punishment that will be given if they do not what is required of them

Take away ALL of her priviledges!! You are the adult who puts food in her stomach and a roof over her head and has cared for her since day one. If she doesnt like it then she can "walk" everywhere or "buy" her own clothes and etc...

Tell her that you will pick everything off of the floor and put it in a box and hide it until she agrees to clean, or bribe her.

easy turn off tv, turn off computer, grounded, extra housework if ignored, no pocket money no friends and then if that doesnt work a good smack around the backside easy works for us

u sound like my mom i am 15 to and i would clean my room if my mom would stop naggin me about it. just let her do wat she wants wen u stop naggin her she will do it she is probally doin it to make u mad at times just let her do her thing wen it gets dirty enough then she will clean it and then relize that it looks better clean and then maby she will keep it clean.
