How do u get into acting??

First of all you have to think about how old are you and depending on that there's a different probability of getting a role in a play or a movie.
Before anything you must consider taking some classes in order to perfection (if you already know how to act a little) your previous knowledge. Afterwards I recommend you to go to broadway plays to have like a theatrical culture about modern plays.
Afterwards, you should definately get a manager because he/she is the one in charge to get you auditions, in the end that's their job. Of course, not anyone wants to have a manager so in that case you should investigate by your own, but that is much harder so for that you should get a manager.
You must onsider participating in school plays (maybe you had but I don't know), experience is one of the most important things taken into account when selecting a cast, so if you have acting classes + experience then you are a great candidate for a role. School plays offer you that experience, and you should start from the very low and not directly to the big thing. School plays help and then hi the big screen or broadway, of course maybe you are a hell of an actress and get selected for a big movie, who knows!! If your school has a drama department, join it when school starts. If the school does not have a drama department, ask your parents to call the Professional and Community Theatres and ask if they teach acting classes. It takes many years to learn how to act. Be prepared.

You are NOT ready to work with a talent agency. When you take acting classes your teachers are the BEST persons to guide you in your career. Never look online or in the telephone book for agents. You are a LONG way from needing a talent agent.

Make sure your acting, dancing and singing skills are are the best!

Okay, go on the internet or phonebook and find an agency. Go to the building or conatct thema nd they will deal with you from there. Or go into like a rep theatre!!!!!!!!!!!!

in the paper it has something for acting but i dont know if its true but i have always wanted to do acting but my dad wont let

Act to every one , oneday act you're happey and see if everybody believes you , otherday act like you're dispirit and also see if somebody believes you , if not watch movies and react them again with your friends , it will be funn .... :)

To get into acting check Celeb sites , mail them and get to know what to do .....

Start in community theater. Take courses in college. Try out for as many plays as you can.
