That question covers too much ground to be answered here. "Germany" didn't exist at that time -- many smaller states like Bavaria, Silesia, Saxony, Pommern, Hesse & many others. Too many to keep track of in the small amount of space on Y!answers.

Which state? Germany wasn't a country until the early 1870's.

Hell, their was the Holy Roman Empire, the imperial wars betwwe Prussia and the Russian Monarchy, the Napoleonic Wars *where Napoleon actually created the German States*..

that time frame is the medieval time, a Renaissance time the jousting and royal families galore. i hope these 2 sites help you other wise contact your local university for the history class and the professor can help you
