GADDS these answers are scary - - - quite obviously if one accepts evolution then earliest Humans were gathering fruits & nuts & other edibles and obviously the person who was most clever & skillful at harvesting/collecting food was the first professional, the first person whose talents earned them a leadership role - - - the second oldest profession was that of the Boss, the Bully with a heart of gold who cozied up toi the first excellent harvester/collector and began pimping out their skills.
