I have answered enough questions about racism. I am sick and tired of the ignorance of people. I am white. I have a black doctor, If we are lucky, I will have a black sister in law, he just needs to get over his cold feet and ask her!! I really can not understand how people in this day and age can be so ignorant!

I hope. I didn't realize people were still so racist until I came onto this site. It is just wrong. I am Caucasian. I have an African-American cousin, a Mexican cousin, two Korean-Puerto Rican nephews, and a Korean-Puerto Rican sister-in-law. Even with all of that diversity in my family, some people in it are still racist even though they claim that they aren't racist against those family members. I think people need to understand that we are all equal and we need to be treated equally.

I don't think we'll see the change in the 21st century, but it will happen eventually. Keep asking questions like these, and challenging people's ideas. Teach your children and friends and family to do the same. You'd be amazed how much you can change that way, even if you can't see it happening.

Unfortunately, no. Although there are a LOT of people of different colors, there are even more that are always willing to bring out the " race card " in any given situation.
You would THINK that it would be over by now, but the racists teach their children whatever THEY believe in, so, sadly, I think it will continue.
