got repetitive strain at work cashier in a supermarket doctors say i cannot return to the same job the manager said that i need to b flexible in the supermarket as i will not b able to do what i was employed to do they want me to send a letter to say i can no longer do my job they are asking me to sacked myself or resign any advice

Reduce any communication between you and your employer to writing. This way, if you have to go before a judge at some point in the future, you have some documentation for your claims. Most employees lose their benefits disputes because the employer has records and they don't.

It is illegal to fire someone who suffers an injury on the job - that's why they want you to quit.

Call a workers' compensation attorney.

You may be elgible for vocational rehabilitation, temporary total disabilitly, permanent total disability, medical expenses incurred because of the injury, and other benefits depending upon your state.
