yes, its called Murpy's law. no-one "invented it" as such, thats like saying who invented Gravity. perhaps the correct term would be who 'discovered' it.

sod's law is a slang abbreviation of Murphy's Laws of the Perversity of Nature. "You soddin' b@st#rd!" is an invective implying that the man engages in sodomy. So when everything is buggered up, you invoke Sod's Law. It has to be of lower- class British origin.
Murphy's Law is as real as you believe it to be.

Yes - becasue my car has just waited to 2 am to get a flat battery for no apparent reason in the woods and make me call the AA out.
I was walking my dogs before the next questions on here is : Why was KingofClubsUK in the woods at 2 am.
So yes it's real - anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Especially if you are me!

Yep, experienced It all my life, So have my mates so I'm not Imagining things. Sometimes called Spodes Law, If anything can go wrong, It does with a vengeance. Don't know where It come from but I do wish It would go back!!!.
