I think now that Steve has passed doing what he loved to do most. Will open the eyes of all the people that love going in the wild and learning more about the creatures in the world. I think it's sad to say this but something this tragic had to happen to someone to actually open the eyes of all does that followed. They all take lots of risk and get so close to this creatures. But I hope and pray they learn to be less daring. My prayers go out to his wife and 2 kids and all his family members.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff is next - just as I was when I found out about Steve's death.
It is sad nonetheless.
