How do i transfer my IM archives and contacts to a new Hard Drive?

Save your yahoo folder to a cd. That's what I did just in case. When you get on the new pc and put that yahoo folder in the new yahoo folder and bam...it's there.

your archives and contacts are not saved on your computer thier saved on the yahoo server so thier is no need to do anything just transfer your messenger or redownload it

Yahoo and MSN are saved on your hard drive, make a copy for when you start using your new hard drive
