Happy = yellow (a photo of a sunrise)
Blue = peace and calm (a photo of a blue ocean or sky)
Black = saddness, pain (a photo of a black rose, or a photo of a black sand beach)
Red/Orange = anger (a photo of a volcano)
Blue/White = Stressed out (a photo of a rough sea/ocean)
For anxiety, and confusion, I would use a photo of a hurricane (with the clouds, etc.) because there is tension and confusion in the winds and movement.
And for suffering and pain, I would drop a glass with red pain on a white floor and photograph it. It would represent a shattered calm and the red would represent the pain/agony caused by that shattered calm.

Happy:light orange and bright yellow/ the sun with a glow! Nervous: a bright white/ closed room with nothing but a bed and table!Exicited: Blue, green, red, and yellow/ above the earth looking down. Stressed: Gray and dark orange/ a bedroom with you and only a lamp on! Peace: a dark blue and green/ walking a path! Sad: all colors, but very dim/ alone in a room with just a television on!
