Keep yourself active in highschool.

I got board and did drugs and drinking and it did nothing but screw up my relationship with my family.

5 years later im still re-building my relationships.

Depends on what you concentrate while there. If you are caught up in the latest trends, the most popular groups, the in-crowd, the activities, and social events...then I would say it might just be the high point in your life and then you are disappointed that the glory days are over.

If you concentrate on your education, get involved in meaningful activities, set goals for your future, prepare for a career, parenthood, a life of service, or things along those lines...then I would say as you get older life will only get better and better and you will welcome each stage of life with welcome arms. I have friends that lived for the now and jumped into all the frivality of highschool with both feet. They still wear their hair the same, wear the same clothes, do the same stupid party scenes, and go to no-where jobs, living disappointed lives and all they ever talk about are the glory days. How sad that is. Embrace each part of life with goals, a positive attitude, faith, and strong relationships and you will die an old, very happy person.

I hope not since our life expectancy is like 80 or something. I think life is what you make it and high school is only 4 years. What a waste it would be to live after high school if it was the best years of your life.

I never want to reach the best years of my life...after you reach them whats left?

It really depends on you. Athletes and social butterflies will probably reach their peak about then. Intellectuals, geeks, or otherwise "different" people will likely find college to be much more satisfying.

uh, no. i think high school might be more like the lowest. i'm looking forward to life afterwards, but at the same time i don't want to grow up too fast.

high school DOES, and is going to continue to SUCK for me. College will hopefully be better. Or life itself.
