Water will go into your vagina in the same way as it would when you are swimming without a period, some does go in and although the tampon is far up it will absorb some of the pool water, so if using tampons then change when you leave the pool, alternatively use menstrual cups that create a seal and don't absorb fluids.

Actually, if you are doing the breast stroke kick properly, you don't open your legs really wide. But the answer to your question is no, water won't go in. Just think about it for a moment. When you insert the tampon, it doesn't drop out, because the mouth of the vagina closes after you insert it. That holds it in. That same action also prevents the water from getting in.

do not subject, there is not any way the tampon can come out till you pull on the string designed for that purpose :) The muscular tissues on your vagina carry it in securely. once you pass swimming, i would not recommend donning a tampon while you're actually not on your era. that's good to prepare making use of a tampon, yet making use of a tampon once you're actually not on your era ability the tampon can harbor bacteria, particularly if that's in simple terms sitting in there for a even as. Plus, a dry tampon isn't very comfortable to take out. additionally, no pool water can get in or do something to the tampon. Tampons are meant for swimming =] there is particularly no real way for the tampon to come back out if that's inserted right, different than pulling the string. this is the factor =]

No - the vagina is watertight otherwise people would swell up like baloons in water. The vagina is filled with muscles and will keep itself shut even if you open your legs really wide.
