I worked as a telemarketer for a bank. I had to call people and ask them to activate their client cards. This was horrible as the bank had just had a restructuring and a name change and no one knew the new name. I had to explain myself so many times to the same customer that I was torn up feeling at the end of the day. Luckily they had to lay some of us off so I was the first to go because I was the least enthusiastic worker.
Nothing could have made me stay there though except the fact that I wouldn't get benefits if I quit.

I was employed to manage a maintain crew at a musicial amplitheatre. A real break big rocks into little rocks kind of job. We pressure washed that filthy rats nest for days, my God; what is wrong with folk when they go to a concert? There are washrooms for that! I gave my word to the Cat who hired me that I'd stay until He'd sealed the deal on his contract. I did, it was my word. The night He got the deal signed I was gone! I don't think my feet touched that filthy ground as I flew from that crack in Hells gate.
