1. Get a good set of makeup brushes, or at least a blush brush (big) and eyeshadow brush. Sonia Kashuk has some good ones for not much at Target. A good brush for cosmetics is like a good knife in the kitchen -- it makes the job a whole lot easier. It also helps you work some great looks with less expensive cosmetics.
2. Once you get advice at a makeup counter about your coloring, try to get a decent kit with a range of colors that are good for your skin tone & eye color. If you're not sure about what color foundation or concealer to use, get one a little lighter & one a little darker, then mix to suit you. Once you have some basics, park yourself in front of a mirror with good light and play! Experimenting helps you learn what works for you and what doesn't.

There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall and you need to find out which one exactly is responsible for the problem you are having now. Of course male pattern baldness is still the most common cause, but, for instance, if you are a woman things are deinitely different! This is the reason why you will need to really dig down and see the source of your problem.
Other causes of hair loss may include (both in men and women): severe mental or emotional stress, excessive use of coloring or bleaching agents, traction alopecia or excessive strain on the scalp due to braiding or corn rowing, hormonal changes, alopecia areata or hair loss due to autoimmune diseases, and many more. Each of these conditions will require a different approach in order to achieve success regardless of whether you're going to be using conventional or natural methods.
In my opinion it's much better to use natural methods as opposed to conventional ones, they're cheaper, have less to no side effects, and often more effective.
A good way of regaining your full head of healthy natural hair is well described on this guide: http://hairagain.toptips.org
Hope it helps.

You should always wear concealer...you can go to almost any makeup counter and they can pick the correct shade for your skin color. It just helps to even out your face.
Then you should wear eyeliner. Just on the bottom for a beginner.
Then mascara, only on the top...not the bottom because you already have eyeliner there.
Then end it off with a lip gloss.
And all of this stuff is cheep and affordable. GOOD LUCK!!!

i'd suggest not jumping into any serious looks because you could end up looking like a hooker or a clown. start simple. use concealer on your bad spots, lip gloss thats tinted and mascara. after you've mastered those, try for a little eyeshadow. that doesnt mean green or blue. it means a soft pastel nude color like brown, a cream or maybe pink but make sure its subtle. the people around you will notice if you put to much on. then afterwards you can start cleaning up your eyebrows. you can either do that professionally or by youself if you have the guts. keep them trimmed and shaped and color in bald spots. then start wearing foundation, powder, blush. that's the tricky part. you awnt to look natural and fresh not thick and plastery.

remember, you want a natural look, not like a clown. apply colors that go well with your skin tone. go to your local department store to the cosmetic counter. explain to them you are starting to use makeup, they will give you pointers. they may also try to sell you something. buy something cheap, like a lipstick or blush. then take what you have learned and get your new makeup from target or walmart.

I think if you just google "makeup tips" you can find a lot, probably even some videos on youtube. maybe you should complain to your parents for not giving you an older sister. i only know one "trick" -- rub a small amount of lotion on your eyelids before applying powder-type eyeshadow. that will keep it on longer.

Go to MAC and let them do your makeup for you. They do it for free but you have to make an appointment. Try doing it during the week so they have more time on their hands and they can tell you step by step what to do

Use foundation only where you need it instead of your whole face. Sweep the mascara brush on your eyes where you would line them. Get a eyeliner brush, a good one, to helping lining your eyes better and easier. Go to covergirl, they can help.
