I'm not exactly sure how much my Oreck costed, this was several years ago, but after all I spent on it (yes, it was expensive), it didn't do well at all. I kept getting clogs in it constantly. We didn't have inside dogs and my kids were older. My house was clean and I wasn't sweeping up large items. I spoke with a couple of other people who've had them and they had the same problems. On the other hand though, I talked to several others who have them and haven't had a problem with theirs. I've gone to Kirby and love it. Best of luck.

We have a cheap Oreck that we purchased for under $100.00 and it has worked well for us. The best place to buy a vacuum sweeper is at an estate auction. I have seen top of the line Rainbow, Electrolux, and Kirby vacuums that cost well over $500.00 when new, sell for under $30.00 at auction. It seems as though every auction has at least one top of the line, and a couple of everyday, vacuums that go for practically nothing.
Good luck with your vacuum.

Its not bad, I'd say its average. I use one all the time and it does what its suppose to do , but I like to have attachments handy to use all in one vacuum and the oreck don't. I think it cost about $150.00

My cat is scared of the noise of the vacuum yet she likes to be brushed. My dogs nonetheless has listening to loss and loves geting vacumed ! it could clog up the comb attachment nonetheless because of the fact my golden retriever sheds plenty. As plenty exciting as brushing her with the vaccum is we nonetheless ought to sweep her with a broom oftentimes to maintain her healthful. and remember approximately how utilising the vacuum on your dogs or cat isn't a competent thought to do every time you sweep them because of the fact it is so loud it could improve the possibilities of listening to loss.
