a milligram is 1/1000 of a gram...and i really hope you can figure that one out on your own. sorry but if we do homework for others it means that person asking rarely learns how to do it for themself--the homework may be done right but when they flunk the exam it really is kind of a clue they cheated! and all the answerers out there have no one to blame but themselves the next time a stupid person at mcdonalds can't count change correctly...there is a reason for school. and conversions is something that is used in everyday life (ie--cooking, comparing products to buy at the store) and so needs known.

That's 1 gram because 1000mg*0.001=1g

small m stands for mili which means a thousandth (dont confuse with big M which means mega or a million times) so this is saying 1000 x 1/1000 = 1
The answer is 1g
