I have a friend who showed me the many types of girls underwear (thongs, g-strings, v-strings, ex.) She says she wears them because there comfortable, but then complains about wedgies all day. And then when I tell her that her thong is sticking out she yells at me. Shes constantly playing with the back of her thong as well. so why do girls wear thongs at places like school and dont tell me their comfortable because i tried on one for a day and it was a wedgie all day long when i told her she said let me take a look and gave me a wedgie. So why do you wear thongs?

I wear thongs & g-strings to avoid VPL (visible panty lines), ugh! Hate them, angry elastic bites in the skin. As for wedgies, that's the whole point! The thong hides in the butt (but then, the thinner the better), giving a smooth seamless VPLless appearance on the backside (esp if it's a dress). The secret in finding one is to buy one a size smaller, that way they don't stick out above jeans (or when bending). They are uncomfortable to wear at first, but with time it's no problem.

well good question but i would have to say they wanna feel sexy, get a guys attention, other girls make fun of them, they feel that boys wont like them for who they are and cause when u are wearing something tight on your sin lets say a dress so other people cant see there panty lines and for it hangging out girls buts it is basically telling a guy she wants him.

yes they are uncomfortable at first but a girl gets use to it and then they are very comfy! I wear them for many reasons: no pantie lines when I wear a skirt or tight jeans, they are sexy when use correctly (for bedroom use). but also trashy if a girl has the string way above the where the jeans end. they are still underwear and i am sure you would not want your grannie panties to show so why let this type of underwear show? its just saying hey look at me "i am a $lut and easy and i do not want boys to respect just use me".

some people DO find them confortable, and many people wear them for comfort, some other people wear them to portray a sexy look, but this are the ones that let you know they are wearing one. much more people wear them and noone ever notices them, they are underwear

If I MUST wear underwear,its usually under trousers,in which case its thongs,string,whatever. The reason for that is because it avoids embarrassing VPL ( Visible panty line)!

Guys wear thongs too,, the ones I've talked to about it said they're more comfortable. Especially in the summer.
