You really have to consider the cost of the issue, war is a VERY expensive enterprise, especially when your army is dependent on outside contractors not just for protection but for food and water. Do you have any idea how much it cost for KFC from Kuwait to Iraq? The war cost is unsustainable unless we plunder Iraq. It's not a matter of if we can keep them over there, it's a matter how long (can you imagine our economy and our deficit after another decade of war of there?)
I for one rather see we use the money for upkeeping our security, increased technology can do a lot. Also give the CIA more money, with enough money and support, the CIA can do anything (they tend to get big headed though when they get too large but that's another problem).
And lastly, at least we keep our military men alive. Are you aware how much training military personel cost, especially the special forces. Our Special Forces are one of our greatest defense, we lose them and they are not easily replaced. And then there are the innocent Iraqi lives.
And lastly, I do have to ask and I'm American, is an American life truly worth 100 Iraqis' lives in the eyes of God?

We're already fighting them here. The London train bombings, 9/11 etc...
These fanatics are aided and abetted by idiots that propogate this nonsense that the USA was behind 9/11.

We have been fighting them over here and everywhere the past few years we have had to but it is all in vain anyhow, we depend of course on oil and where is the most oil in the terrorist countries so we fight them then we buy the oil from them they buy weapons from us and we fight them some more so it is a win win situtation

Right now Islam is largest religion by far. So using your logic isn't a stretch to say we can fight them over there. It's nothing but political BS so (HAL) can charge another couple of million to fix couple of pot holes.
