well i studied history. firstly you have to decide what country you want to live in, then what type of history, ancient/modern. then look at course guides and so on. however think, do you want to live in a city or rural area. i think thats about it, but dont just choose university for its course!

English universities mostly accept applications through UCAS - check out their website at www.ucas.ac.uk as a starting point. Or you could try contacting universities directly for more information on their courses and application procedure. You really need to do some research - I imagine most UK universities offer History as a subject, so you need to narrow down your search. Try thinking about what are of the country you want to study in - urban, rural, campus, city centre etc - and what areas of History you want to study. If it's of interest, I studied History at Manchester University and covered many different aspects, from ancient Greece to early 20th century, and ended up writing my dissertation on medieval male sexuality!

as an english student who is living abroad you would be regarded as a foreign student and charged a loooooot of cash for studying here. i think you have to be domiciled in the country you are studying for at least 3 years to be regarded as being permanently domiciled in that country. i saw glasgow uni costs up at £15,000 per year so good luck princess. i also think you have to apply through UCAS but you will have to wait till next year to apply now. if you need any more info then mail me and i will give you more details. either that or visit glasgow uni website and they will give you info. check the info on fees
