They come into her bedroom and shake her awake, she sits downstairs most nights with the telly on as she is so afraid, I do not see them or hear them she does. She also sees an old man at the office where she works. I took her to a medium and she said she is basically an ariel for ghosts to come to. She hears them and sees them on a daily basis, what can we do to get rid of them. This is serious, I dont know where to turn to help her.

she had imaginary friends in babyhood and has seen spirits all her life. Something pins her down for about 3 minutes as well. She is a very well balanced intelligent girl who is not attention seeking or anything like that, I dont think she is schizo. It's only lately that she has become frightened.

It's a beginning. Even in mundane terms, your girl's mind is adjusting to becoming a fully adult mind. There are bound to be some moments when she's not entirely sure what she's seeing.

I've had the exact same experiences - except that, in my case, the Old Man hovered over my bed, and all I could see from my point of view was his shadow on the wall, outlined in a light that way way too bright to be from the bedroom light, and at entirely the wrong angle - horizontal, rather than nearly vertical.

I've had the bed shaking, the buzzing - I know exactly what she's gone through.

It's a test, to see if she can exercise the will to overcome her fears. If your daughter can do so, you'll find that this Being which is bothering her will reveal itself to have been a part of her growing mind all along.

Tell your daughter that what is happening is, in the end, beneficial for her. These visions will not cause her harm - can never cause her harm.

If the problems persist, email me.

Are you in the United States? If so, then I definitely think you should give TAPS a call. TAPS is the Atlantic Paranormal Society, and they help out families like yours. Helping children is their number one priority, especially when the children are too scared to go about their daily lives. While you're waiting on a reply, I encourage you to check out a few things concerning your house and the area around your house. 1- with children, there is always a chance of poltergeist activity. They can be the focal point of the activity, and even cause it. You can do some background checking to find out if this could be happening to your daughter. Poltergeist activity occurs where there are rich limestone deposits. Check out the geology of your area for limestone deposits. You may be able to find this through the USGS, a local park, a library, or a university. 2- Check your home's electrical wiring. Are there any wires that are exposed and not properly shielded? This can cause high electromagnetic frequencies that can cause bouts of depression, paranoia, the feeling of being watched, and hallucinations with exposure. Check the spot where the girl constantly feels a presence behind her. Is it near any outlets? Are there wires running overhead? 3- The Earth gives off certain magnetic fields due to its rotation and revolution. In these fields, very weird things can occur, at least I think so. This can be discovered through the equipment that TAPS uses though. Definitely send an email to TAPS. One of my relatives did as the ghosts were affecting her 2 yr old and newborn, and they sent a local team out to investigate. Do not contact psychics or mediums. Priests believe that these psychics can stir up the ghosts with their presence and make the situation worse for you when they leave. If your daughter has a ouija board, now is the time to remove it from her room. Store it, don't destroy it. If her friends and her have been using it, you need to know! The ouija board can attract demons through it. Demons are spirits that never existed as a human before. If you throw away or destroy a ouija board, you may find your troubles worse than before. So, keep it until a professional tells you its safe to get rid of. There are three types of hauntings. The first is a residual haunt, where the energy of a certain moment is taped and forced to play over and over again in a certain location on Earth. Residual hauntings do not interact with people, they just let their tragic story unfold. They are not spirits left in this world, just a memory that time has saved. It does not sound like this is what you have. The next type is an intelligent hauting. These were human once, they are now spirits and can interact with you. Sometimes they pick up objects, brush against a person, etc. They usually do not mean harm. This is most often the case when there are hauntings. The last, well I won't scare you. Please, contact TAPS asap for your daughter as they can collect evidence, and they will disprove or prove that you have ghosts. At the end, you may feel more at ease.

Your best bet is to get her a crystal that she can focus on. My suggestion is something nice and protective like citrine. Put it in a bag under her pillow at night. Then bless the house, to do this an appropriate ceremony like the use of white sage. It is the intent in such a ritual that counts, and the strength of will behind it, not the ritual used. A good way is to bless every door frame and window whilst using the smouldering herbs as an incense to lineate a boundary to the spirits. Ask the permission of whatever God/Gods/Goddess/Goddesses you believe in for this and use that to cleanse the house.

Also, if she is Christian/Muslim/Jewish, remind her that all spirits flee in the name of God.

If this does not solve the problem contact either a shaman, or a priest to bless the property and your daughter.

Is it possible she is in contact with someone else who is involving her in some sort of occult activity?

In any case, remind her that most such things will stop if ignored.

The only reason I am taking the time to answer this question is that you are a level 1 answerer. I answer the same questions week after week and I list books that give complete explanation on spiritual phenomena--good and bad. The spiritual world is too complex to explain on a post such as this. Until recently--no-one was allowed to print such books. The wisdom was confined to certain clandestine organizations.
Here are two books--one just describes different types of activity-Demons: The Answer Book by Lester Sumrall or you can get a comprehensive guide--that explains spiritual openings and spiritual conduits with case histories etc. The Golden Fleece Found by Basil Hill.
In short--the fact that your daughter's sleep is being disturbed means that she has spiritual openings. Check www.trafford.com/04-2126

Well, assuming she's being honest, that is quite an odd story.

The first thing I'd suggest, is to see a psychologist. It's quite possible that these people she sees aren't ghosts, but perhaps some form of a hallucination. I don't mean to offend you or her, but that would be the more accepted answer here.

Should a psychologist see your daughter and say that nothing else is off about her, then I'd suggest you continue to see more people such as mediums and others who specialize in the supernatural (wherever you can find them near you).

Honestly though, if for no other reason than to quiet the doubters about your daughter's "ghosts", please do see the psychologist.

I'm a very open minded person and this may not be the case but it sounds to me like your daughter is showing signs of a schizophrenic nature. If this can be ruled out then you should get your daughter some councilling from other spiritulists who can explain things a lot better to her. It's a very touchy subject that is going to take a lot of soul serching. She is also at an age where hormones can do a lot of things to the mind. I hope you are both okay and find the answers that you are searching for. May God be with you.

Try a psychiatrist. She may actually be schizophrenic. If she really does appear to be psychic, then If she addresses the manifestations directly, they should stop. Apparently ghosts also don't like Reiki. Get attuned by a Reiki Master. Also see about exorcism.

Shouldn't the first place you take your daughter be the doctors, not a medium,? you need to see if there is a medical reason. Maybe she does see things, but are they ghosts or some kind of hallucination?.

my late mum used to see ghosts but she used to embrace it as a gift from god, she always used to say its the living that can hurt you not the dead, your daughter obviously has a gift she could be a medium to be the channel to connect the dead to the living and give the living hope that their loved ones are in a safe place, but i understand that it must be scarey for her, maybe you all could talk to a priest, that might help my heart goes out to you, good luck

Don't be afraid, maybe they have a message or maybe they are just doing what ghosts do. Everything happens for a reason. She needs to listen and watch for signs. Either way, just ask or tell them to go away.
