If you have Windows do the following steps:

1.) Go to Control Panel

2.) Go to Sounds & Audio Devices

3.) Click on the Audio tab, located at the top

4.) What does it show as your default device in the "Sound Playback section" (the top)?

5.) If you have more than 1 in the drop-down menu select the other one.
**Be sure to write down what it originally had that way if you need to you can go back and change it.

6.) Click on OK.

7.) If it doesn't work go back and reverse what you did.

Please let me know if your still experiencing problems or using a different operating system such as MAC OS X or Linux and I'll be glad to help you if I can.

make sure the speaker wire is plugged into the correct connection at teh back of your pc.

speakers usually have green connectors, so match it up with that colour of connection at the back and you should be ok.

if that doesnt work, maybe somethings wrong with the sound drivers, maybe they've been uninstalled or something? try the manufacturers website for sound drivers.

failing that, check your sound properties arent set on mute :p

Go to control panel and open the speakers section and make sure they are not muted and check the volume control on your computer not just the speakers.

do you have them in the right port on your sound card? most SC's have 3 ports - 1 microphone, 1 speaker, 1 aux-in.
