any amusement parks when you where younger that are now closed or don't have any of the rides that were there when you aere a kid? what your faverite thing to do when you were younger?

I use to live in Detroit and they had an amusement park called Edge water Park. I don't think it is there anymore, but they had an old roller coaster that was totally made out of wood and when you would be pulled up on the first hill you could hear the wood creak and crackle. I think that was scarier than the ride itself.
