Columbo. He not only was a brilliant investigator, he knew human nature very well, and used status to manipulate people.

Currently, though, Monk is my absolute favorite.

This is for the Brits! Mr. Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, produced by Granada Televion, UK. I needed a tranquilizer to watch his hyperactivity. Excaliber, Mr. Brett. God rest your soul.

Colombo
He was weird and looked so ridiculous in his rain coat that suspects never took him seriously i laugh on his facial expressions and mannerisms.

Monk is a genius but all the fun is on his obsessions.
