Every physical hard disk has a Master Boot Record. Every logical drive has a boot sector. So, normally, your anti-virus software should report more than one boot sector scanned. Their number is equal to the number of your physical hard disks plus the number of logical disk drives (i.e., C:, D:, etc.) that you have on these physical hard disks.

Most likely, before you had a single disk with a single partition on it (drive C:) - so you had 2 boot sectors. Now you probably still have a single physical disk - but it's probably bigger and partitioned into several logical partitions - drives C:, D:, E: and F: - thus the total number of boot sectors is now 5.

No there is nothing wrong with that. A boot sector is basically a little place in your hard drive that has all the stuff you need to start up your computer. So for example since you added some drivers those drivers may start up when your computer does thus making the boot sector increase. Dont worry about boot sectors unless there is a virus in it. But thats a whole other story.

Then run the courses in secure mode (F8 on start up up), whilst complete activate equipment fix. The link decrease than has many courses to help, yet do not use to many and basically one anti-virus.
