I'm curious, I know someone's watches every thing I do on my pc, Ít has been proven, but no one seems to know who it is...or want to look into it for me.(or start to look into it and then sort of just quit for no reason! grrrr!

And I realy want to know, not to hack back, because I have no clue what's so interesting about someone's pc life!

What's the drive I wonder, I don't have any bank account details or personal private stuff on my pc either, so what's the point then?

The thing they do is deprive me to go to some sites and slow my connection and freez my pc, and check all my email and look at my pics of my animals mostly... Please what do I miss?

As for the questions asked, I assume they check my pics as they change in size, and sometimes there's hidden text in them.

Also Ilile I said I know he/they is/are there, so no chance in hell do I even offline put private stuff on my pc

They are logging my keystrokes as I saw logs.

After 4 years of this going on I can reassure you a know the difference of spyware etc. and personaly being followed

I just don't get it why someone knowing for 4 years that I know, and not putting any interesting stuff on my pc, their point?

I've tried it all, switching routers 72passes of fragmenting my pc (that's a lot!) to changing provider etc. does not give up!

Greetings!

First off, how do you know they are performing all these actions? If you truly know something as specific as someone is looking at pics of your animals, you SHOULD be able to recitfy the situation by eliminating the hacker issue.

Before I answer why people do it, have you tried changing your IP address, reformatted your computer yet? A combination of those two will eliminate nearly every hacker's access to your computer.

Also, keep in mind there is a difference betwen spyware and hacking.

Hackers hack because of the following reasons:
A. They belong to a hacker group that consistently try to 'one-up' each other hacking into various things. Hackers like to brag about their hacks.
B. They are after personal information that can be used tosteal ids and basically make your life miserable. I HOPE you don't store any CC info or your Social Security number on your computer.
C. Hackers hack because SOME actually believe it helps the security movement by forcing developers like Microsoft to continuously patch security holes.

Those are hardcore hackers..but there's also programs out there called Spyware, Adware, Malware etc. The purpose of these are to basically watch what web sites you browse, and what you do on yourcomputer so the information can be compiled for market research, among other things. These types of programs can easily be removed using a program like Spybot or Ad-Aware.

If a hacker has that much control over your computer as you have described, they are doing a lot more than frezing your pc, prohibiting you from certain sites etc....it's more likeky they are using your pc to attack another pc (denial of service attack would explain the slow internet and inaccessible sites), or simply waiting for you to do something like buy something online and log your keystrokes.

So many people out there love Microsoft, that would be a starting point! Some which have good programming skils just want to show the uesrs that MS products are not so safe as they said it would be...
It would be just fine if this was the only reason but it's not... Spamming on the internet, taking over accounts from where they could easily retrieve information and most importantly money, this is the real threat.
Now refering to your question: you know it but does the hacker know about your "pc life"? Just install good antivirus, firewall antispam, antispyware software and keep your system updated!
You can fake the ip when surfing on the internet, this way making it harder for him to enter your computer.
Here is a software for this:

There's a few reasons for hacking, or rather, why people hack into computers.

The first, and more widely known, is to gain valuable information from the computer. This could be anything from accessing private documents (such as emails), through work files (a la industrial espionage), and up to gaining personal and potentially useful private information (bank details, name, date of birth...).

The actual use for this is dependant upon the information and the hacker. It could be for personal gain (accessing bank accounts), it could be for blackmail, it could be to sell information. In this instance, motivation is simple: you want something, often money.

A second form of hacking is to allow information to be placed instead of removed. Commonly, this is fairly destructive, if not terribly damaging to any one person. A lot of this is vandalism, and people deface websites in order to... well, why do people vandalise anything? Fun? Kudos? Boredom...? Sometimes placed information is planted, false data. This could be anything like changing customer information, altering your exam scores, false emails.... You get the picture.

A third type is to use a PC as a stopping point in between getting to a computer you really want to get to. Say person A wanted to hack person D's computer. They could do this directly, or go via B and Cs instead. This way the route is obscured, and with it the path back to A. Its a way of concealing activity.

There is a final form of hacking, the 'white' (or possibly 'grey') hackers who try to hack a computer in order to find any security holes, in order that they may be filled. This is a security issue, and if you study IT to any level, especially digital forensics, you will almost certainly be exposed to this.

The hacking you've experienced is access for its own sake. People do it because they are bored, and want to show off their hacking skills. Often teenage boys with little else to do with their lives, they get their kicks by technical expertise. They are often compensating for some lack of social aspect - respect, sex... the usual stuff.

If they are getting hacked by the way, get some better security. A good firewall should protect you.

It's for people that have way too much time on their hands basically. Most hackers are under the age of 25 and have been taught by one of their friends how to do this and they just like going in and seeing what's in your account. Don't get me wriong, there are professionals that do this to get account info from your bank, charge cards, etc.
They really should get a day job!!

it might not actually be the same person on ur pc all the time hence it seeming like they are not going away, hacking programs are relatively easy to work u basically send a file to someone i.e. a pic with a file ( like a server sorta) attatched to it and it hides itself in ur machine. then on these programs u basically put in the info for tht server n it finds tht persons pc...u can also set it to sweep for servers so if u have one it could be a number of diff ppl randomly havin a look, programmes like sub 7 and bo2k are relativly easy to find and work on the net, i downloaded sub7 whn i got hacked before and was able to use it to find and remove the server which was on my pc

Sometimes hackers test web site security and try to find holes within the security. Sometime MI5 might hire a hacker.

Hackers can be any ages.

Hackers hack because they have nothing better to do, they want to piss people off, and to get personal info in the conquest of wealth.

hacking is not just for getting something to steal, really hackers aren't looking for your bank account
but looking for this feeling which you feel when you spy your neighbor.

Said a friend of mine.

they're probably just waiting for you to go to a site that a credit card is needed for and steal your info.
