Because his family is neck deep into terrorism. His Daddy and Reagan trained, armed, finnanced Bin Laden in the 80's. They also wussed out and gave arms to Iran. They also CUT and RAN when Hezbollah killed almost 300 Marines in a bombing in Lebanon. Reagan and Bush gave Chemical weapons to Saddam. They also armed the Taliban.
The Bush's are best friends with the Saudi Royal family, the same family which has given tons of cash to support terrorism. The Bush's and the Bin Ladens went into investments with one another (Carlyle Group).
9/11 happened on Bush's watch. Bush cut a Congress proposal to spend 3 billion in terrorism funding 2 months before 9/11, Bush said no and gave 0 that's ZERO dollars to Terrorism. George Tenant the head of the C.I.A begged Bush to look into suspected terrorists who were taking flying lessons but didn't want to know how to lift or land a plane. Richard Clarke Warned Bush that Intelligence has confirmed that America will be hit by a terrorist attack within a year. This was 6 months before 9/11, Bush ignored him.
Bush ignores the Presidential Daily Brief which says on the front "BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK U.S". 9/11/01 America is hit by the same people his family trained and armed. The same people he ignored and went to business with. Now Bush looks like a fool on national t.v when he was so scared he almost wet his pants. Operation get rid of classified information and blame Clinton goes into affect.

Very few people know the truth about 9/11., so all is not known, except to the few in the government who organised it.
The 9/11 Commission report sheds no light whatever on the truth, and leaves hundreds of unanswered questions.
The reason Bush will not talk about it is that the story released by his government is known to be untrue.

Excellent question, also, why did he have to bring Cheney to his "interview" (it wasn't an interrogation as he wouldn't go under oath, wonder what the hell he is hiding).

What is there to know? 4 planes were hijacked by terrorist, 3 went into buildings 1 went into a field. Lot's of people died that day. Please move on.
