it probably depends on what you're auditioning for! are you interested in a speaking part? a dancing part? etc.
most auditions consist of you strutting your stuff (or singing a song, in the case of singers) in front of one or perhaps several people. then there are usually several callbacks as the producers narrow the field down. good luck!!!

They ask you if you are a real actor, or just a disney actor... then they show you the door.

sex. believe it. lohan, duff, and spears (and sisters) didn't, er... "lose their innocence"... out of nowhere - they didn't even have a chance (do child actors go to school, where they might meet sex partners of their age? no.). no, it's, "the couch", for them. the couch and a great deal of being told to lose weight. through coke.
