It would be nice if they considered that the source of all rights, sovereignty, and freedom is within the individual. That said, I don’t expect such to occur. At most we can hope that the people of Iraq become truly active in their society and whatever government they define. However, I anticipate that Iraq will go the way of so many other countries of the Mid-East and if so, it will be run by religious dictators which is the end of any individual freedom and the enforcement of women slaves.

and anything else I am missing that John Locke meant when he said all people are guarenteed life, liberty, and property.

Freedom to vote, freedom of religion, equality among men and women. I know it sounds crazy, but our Bill of Rights has a lot of freedoms Iarqis should take a look at. You can't have a democratic country without personal rights.
