Honestly, I'm at a loss of words...

I think I have figured it out last night while watching something on PBS's Charlie Rose. The guy being interviewed stopped and said something about he needed to give two answers to the question..
1. was pre-elections predictions and politics.
2. the other was post-election

He went on to that nothing would change.. the stay the course theory before the election because that would be seen as wavering irregardless as to whether or not it was true. He also mentioned no mistakes would be admitted to pre-election.

What does that tell you about the republicans? Tells me they don't care about truth. They only care about being in power and control.

Bush believes he has carte blanche to do as he pleases, because he knows that he is not up for election again. With no accountability at the ballot box, one does not feel encumbered by public opinion, and is therefore free to exercise their opinions, and have them translate into foreign and domestic policy with impunity.

The American public (and the world) can all dislike Bush, he still has the big money corporations in his corner (as he caters to them completely). They have the power in this country, it's called facism.

Well, regardless of if people like him or not he is the president. And nothing he is doing is illegal. He can do whatever he wants with the army. If he does do something illegal, not just unpopular then he can be impeached. But, I don't think he will so we'll just have to wait until the next election.

Spineless Congress that will soon be decimated of the lemmings that occupy it at present. I expect to see the suicide rates go up dramatically amongst congressmen as they contemplate all the blood on their hands. Those of our soldiers and the innocents of Iraq, Lebanon and Israel.
