Those wax strips that come in a yellow box (they are the sponsors of Emmerdale). I have tried to use them but they dont work. Am I doing something wrong or are they just crap??

Just crap. If you want a waxing - go get it done at a salon. They are the only ones that get it right! I guess you could use veet roll on wax though. You still need the cotton strips to rip the hairs out, and thats basicallly the only waxing that works at the end of the day. Those strips are shite.

no pet they really crap ! i bought a great device this summer tho, its called a epilator, it looks like a electric shaver, bt it actually plucks the hair out really fast, its no that sore, just like waxing but its def not messy like the veet strips that just leave the wax on ur leg! so i think it would b a great idea to invest in one of these, and never have to pay 4 wax again !

I used the wax strips and that in shower cream both crap.

The wax strips missed loads of hair and the cream that is supposed to stay on in the shower washed off straight away.

Nair wax is quite good as if peels off no strips but its a bit messy

I use the cream with the "razor" (it doesn't have a blade). I like the way it works, because all hair is removed, my legs feel silkly and the hair doesn't grow back all stubbly.
The only problem is it lasts for about 1.5-2 weeks and traditional salon waxing lasts longer. I like it though.

I've tried, but I can't bear the ripping off thing. They probably work out more expensive in the long run, as you'd never be able to line them up properly. Do you think the woman in the advert looks like Geri Halliwell's cousin, or something?

wax is just crap - dont worry you are probably doing nothing wrong. Try the cream - its a lot easier and gets the job dont painless and properly

They don't really work at all.
The only stuff that works for me is wax, by SurgiWax, the one that
does not requere muslin strips.
Pulls all the hair right off and it stays clean for a long time.
