Why did they shut down the Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion in Virginia?

When we asked the manager he said he had never heard of the ride. One of the vendors told us that he thought the ride had been sold.

When Cedar Fair took over they were looking to sell the ride and use the building to house a new ride, but they changed their mind.

They closed flight of fear at kings island ohio because of maintenance issues.
