nothing like that buddy, data erased can be fixed using simple applications like restoration. damaged hard drives requires some knd of high end gadgets which im pretty sure is available in markets or this kin of data recovery is available comercially!!!

No. My hard drive died a couple months ago, so I shipped it back to eMachines, they repaired it no charged and shipped it back.
