i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

I am very sad..Steve was a great person although he did some weird things..He was an Aussie icon and will be sorely missed..I met steve when I was 10 years old and I still have my photo from when I got it taken with him..I know its probably weird but I am sad today and just cant believe that hes dead...Prayers go out to Terri and the kids...
We will miss you Steve

Yes, Steve was a great aussie and he was known well in america. He took risks that no body else would and people should admirer him for that. I think it was really sad he died it was WAY to early.

No, but I'm pretty sad about Steve Irwin. Strange how two people with such similar names have died on the same day.

i'm sorry for his relatives, yet i won't be able to help yet think of this guy became soliciting for worry. He aggressively approached wild animals of their interior of reach habitat. How could he like it if somebody taunted him in his domicile at any given time AND suddenly? It became basically a count of time in the previous some thing tragic could ensue to him. i admire his hobby for his artwork, yet what a line of artwork!!!! I in simple terms wish his infants are plenty much less zealous approximately this form of artwork.....
