I'll never be uncomfortable reciting the pledge no matter if I agree what the government is doing now doesn't change the incredible history that made this country what it is today. Too many soldiers have died for me not to show some respect. Good and bad I will forever stand by her!!

Yes I feel totally comfortable and PROUD to stand up, put my hand over my heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance word-for-word.
I may not always agree with what our leaders do, but I have the right to speak my disagreement without fear of retaliation which is more than I can say for many countries.
When I pledge my allegiance I am acknowledging every man, woman and child who has made this country what is and what it will be.
America has done much to help out many people over the whole world. I've had relatives fight in every war to keep us all safe from idiots and megalomaniacs.
Don't put down my country in front of me.

No, I still take pride in my country no matter how stupid the current leaders are. I for the most part believe in our political system and trust the people of the country to make better choices in the upcoming elections. I do however have a problem with the "under god" line. Especially since it was added later and not in the original. I would take that line back out. You have probably heard of something called separation of church and state.

I don't feel uncomfortable singing it. It's part of being an American citizen in school. It's fine to place my hand over my heart and recite the pledge. I don't think I can change it if I could.

I am proud to say the Pledge of Allegiance and wouldn't change a thing. There will always be something that could be improved in our country; our government; and ourselves. When I say the pledge, I realize I have to do my part to make my country better and I start by voting.

No I don't feel uncomfortable doing any of that. I take great pride in what our flag stands, and for the men and women who have died defending our nation, and great pride in the ones that have served or are still serving honorably and trying to be an example of what an American is.
On the flip side ... I wish I could get my hands on those chickenchit little bstrds that have commited rape and murder in foriegn lands, especially in our current conflicts.

Hell yea! I would say the pledge of allegiance in the middle of times square with a loud speaker. ^.^ And all those people who think there is something wrong with the Pledge of Allegiance and feel it should be changed are a bunch of gay gays that can shampoo my crotch ^.^

Now, if considered one of my scholars got here to me and advised me that they objected to asserting the Pledge of Allegiance, i might, rigidity ought to, enable them to no longer, yet greater desirable than in all probability, that they had could do it like all and sundry else. If I have been a school youngster and a few have been adversarial to the assumption of asserting the Pledge and it went by, i might end the team.
