1MB =1000 X 200= 200000 / 2GB, but you will only be able to format you hard drive to 195 GB

If you divide 200000 by 1024 you only get
1953125. That's just the way it is.

and FYI, in most cases when a computer is advertised to have 2GB (of w/e) it actually means 2 billion bytes, which in the conversion system, becomes less than 2 actual GB,
