There is no such thing as a site that offers free music downloads, Limewire can help you access millions of songs, and they are free, but its illegal to download them...
If you are not bothered by software piracy then get Limewire and you can download all you want, otherwise there is no legal way of getting free music...

another alternative for getting good songs is to use a p2p (peer to peer) software like Kaaza
Kaaza is very popular for music download but beware of viruses.
i would prefer ARES as my p2p bcoz its just great
ARES is simple, fast , it works in low end computers and low speed internet connections.
just search google for ARES download, the installation setup file can be downloaded and it is less than 2 mb

As all the others have told its limewire .it may cost you under a pound to join but its worth it .have you tried yahoo music as well

Limewire is pretty good. But it's free so you will prob get a comp virus.
