my system crashes every time the acpi something trys to start ive tried different ram, hard drives, and differnt main boards takeing out everything cept the ram, and hard drive and still does it. ive managed to get past it but under system properties it says it has been permanantly stopped. whats going on?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and my computer dont shut down properly any more i have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds after it says its says its says it is safe

If youir mobo has ACPI support, you must install it when you install windows. You have to press f5 or F6 or something.
