I'm all for it. Actually, it will be available over the counter very soon (if not already). Why would we not want to make more forms of contraception available? Since Plan B is the same drugs as are in normal birth control pill, and it has been used for years with no special ill effects, I'm all for it. And remember, it is contraception not abortion, it prevents conception does not terminate conceived fetus.

I am very happy that it is now being sold in pharmacys. Reason being because you can try to instill dont have sex as much as you want. Problem being. Its going to happen because it is all over the television and is just normal to do now. So its not going to go away. Having the pill being available in case somthing happens then it is fantastic. Though I do think there should be a national system that keeps track of how many times the pill has been bought by a particular person so that it can not be abused.

Feeling are mixed.

I think folks should worry about Plan A! Stop screwing every Tom,Dick, & Tyrone that walks by. As a true emergency device it may have some merit. Is it a contraceptive or a Abortion? That is still questionable.....

Overall it's another system that will not get used anymore than the other 999 systems available.

100% against this.

Abortion is a behavior problem, not a reproductive one. Put aside abortions that are needed to save a woman's life, rape, and incest (which are a very small percentage). What is left is a female has sex and is concerned about getting pregnant. Then if she is not willing to have a child, DO NOT HAVE SEX. In this case, she is behaving irresponsibly and wants to eliminate the chance that she is pregnant. Children need 1 mother and 1 father, otherwise nature would have made reproduction different. The best way to raise the child is with married parents. There are a lot of legitimate studies out there that show children have more problems with single parent or divorced households. Since children are a by product of sex, either wait until marriage or get married if you get pregnant.

Another way to look at this is that someone is having sex and living in their urges. The 1960's and the sexual revolution destroyed this country. All of a sudden, do what you want, with who you want, and when you want. This is why we have such a high divorce rate. It all about the individual and what they want now. This impulsiveness leads to poor financial management also. Look at public figures that treat sex impulsively: Howard Stern(who I respect a lot) has admitted he is miserable. Look at politicans who cheat on their wives. When you put your sexual urges first, it rules your life. I see females all the time use sex to get what they want. True love brings great sex, not the reverse.

By the way, I was raised Catholic, and have not been to church in 15 years. I do not subscribe to a specific religion, but believe Christian values are great. I do not have an agenda. I have looked into cause and effect and the results are amazing.

I feel good because there will be fewer abortions that way! I'm a pro-choice kinda gal, but I don't think abortion is a good thing either. Maybe people should be more careful about sex in the first place, that seems logical. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak!!

It's nice to see the government getting out of people's lives and allowing individuals to make decisions about their own medical care.

there's a good and a bad to this. i think it's good for people who really need it, maybe the condom broke or you forgot to take the pill. but it should not be available to those who are irresponsible and just want to get out of it and would use it all the time. there should be a lengthy process to get the actual pill
