it is the very essence of what it is to be an American, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. the people that we voted for to go to Washington or to our state capitol are there to represent us, the people, for the establishment of law for the good of the majority and we have the right to excuse them when
ever we go to the polls to vote. it is important to know these things because what you do(vote or not voting) affects you.
