PHP you can easily build your own PHP / MySQL / Apache web server running on Linux for free. How cool is that? There are tons of free PHP site templates and code examples on the net to download. The full PHP manual is on the net and very well laid out and easy to read.

This is simple.
For lower cost, faster, higher security and better maintained Linux web servers, use php. You can get a low cost server through http://www.ipowerweb.com starting at $7.95 per month.
For higher cost Windows servers, which would be slower, and probably less secure, with poor service, get a website that will take asp. Yes, iPowerWeb also provides Windows servers at $9.95 per month... but why would you?
