Well My friend everyone has to die one day, steve irwin, u , me or any other Human.

We feel sad when someone passes away young or unexpectedly. And surely Steve is just the 3rd person recorded to have died by a shock from a sting ray. Very Tragic!

Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.

I thought he was invinsible...and it's sad that he left behind a wife and two children. I can only say it was his time and he died doing what he loved. He was a legand and he will be greatly missed...

Crikey~Sweet Irony! At least Steve Irwin died doing something that he loved to do, and now he can be one with nature. Yes, it's tragic, and I feel for his family, but he will always be remembered as the one and only "Crocodile Hunter." RIP.

When you play with fire, sooner or later you are going to get burned.

That being said - we all have to die. At least he went out doing what he was really passionate about. I don't think that is sad. How many of us punch in and punch out on a daily basis, but never truly LIVE? That is sad.

It is a sad and tragic accident that happened. But we all must die someday so celebrate his life and all the good things that he did for his family and fans and the worlds environment.

I think he knew the risks of what he was doing. But this is what he loved to do, he had fun doing it.

It is sad that he had to die so young though.

stingray usually doesn't kill you but it punctured his heart so he didn't have a chance, wnless you meant int he philosophical sense. For that unfortunatly I'd say, "you mess with the bull you get the horns but in this case it's a stingray." we all have to go sometime.

he didn't have to die
